Debt Recovery Tribunals in Chandigarh will commence physical hearing from October 1, 2020.

According to a note of the Union Finance Ministry, it has been decided that all three Debt Recovery Tribunals in Chandigarh will be opened up for physical filing  (in general) and also for physical hearing  in urgent matters (only if counsels for both sides are willing to be heard by physical hearing) from October 1, 2020. All other cases will be heard through video conference as per the previous practice. All guidelines of social distancing will be adhered to.
