Cyclone Remal Weakens, Relief Efforts Ramp Up in West Bengal and Bangladesh

The cyclone that swept through West Bengal and Bangladesh on Sunday is now considerably weaker as it heads into the interior; and even though the immediate danger seems to be diminishing, the governments of these two nations have intensified their actions towards relief aid in order to evaluate the magnitude of the catastrophe and reach out to the victims..

Initial Damage Assessment
