Chitkara University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a prominent US-based firm, Escalon Business Services. This will serve as a golden opportunity for students enrolled in the B.Com Finance and BBA Fintech programs to enhance their academic and professional development.
This strategic collaboration will equip students with the latest industry knowledge, practical skills, and 360-degree exposure to upskill themselves to thrive in the accounting sector. The MoU will assist both institutions in co-creating curriculum frameworks aimed toward evolving trends and demands in the accounting field with proficient use of cutting-edge accounting software. This partnership will bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application making sure that graduating students are skilled to meet today’s evolving landscape of opportunities.
The MoU signing ceremony occurred between Prof. Sandhir Sharma, Pro Vice Chancellor, Chitkara Business School, and Ankur Saxena, Business Head- India Operations for Escalon Business Services. The ceremony was also graced by the presence of Dr. Rashmi Aggarwal, Dean (Commerce and Fintech) of Chitkara Business Scholl, Harsh Logani, manager of HR and Talent Acquisition at Escalon Business Services, and Satyendra Sing, Director of Career Advancement Services at Chitkara University. In addition to this, the team interacted with a group of six students from Chitkara Business School who are already working at Escalon, highlighting the existing connection between the two institutes.
This MoU will open doors for internship and placement opportunities for students pursuing B.Com Finance and BBA Fintech programs. Practical experiences through internships at Escalon Business Sevices, will not only strengthen the resume of the students but will also provide them with a competitive edge in the job market. This collaboration also opens doors for potential future job opportunities for graduating students within Escalon.
