Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) has introduced online payment facility for all kind of dues. Now, allottees will not be required to visit the office of CHB and can pay their dues on the official website: www.chbonline.in
The process has been simplified and online payment can be made without any registration or going through the process of entering user id and password. The online payments can be made through net banking, debit card and credit card, without any extra charge.
The applicant needs to mention only the category, sector and unit number, while rest of the details such as name of the allottee, registration number and name of the scheme will get filled up automatically.
An auto-generated SMS will be sent on every successful payment and receipt of the payment can be downloaded instantly.
To further encourage the online payments, the CHB holds a computerised draw each month to give a reward of ₹1,000/- each to 10 online payment transactions irrespective of the amount paid.
A computerised draw to decide 10 winners for the month of September was held today under the supervision of Navjot Kaur, PCS, Director (Social Welfare), Chandigarh Administration.
Among the winners, the lowest deposited online payment was ₹236 and the highest amount was ₹12,980. The amount of the winners will be credited in their bank accounts in the next few days.
