Due to the spike in Covid-19 cases and to ensure social distancing in Sewa Kendra, Punjab Government has changed the timings with effect from September 3.
Now, the employees in Sewa Kendra in urban areas will work in two shifts with 50% staff. The morning shift will operate from 8am to 1.30pm and the second shift from 1.30pm to 6pm. In rural areas Sewa Kendras, the staff would function from 9am to 5pm.
Punjab has 515 Kendras in total. There are 23 Sewa Kendras in Rupnagar and 15 in SAS Nagar.
