After the Centre cuts levy on petrol and diesel, Chandigarh Administration reduces VAT by Rs 7 on Petrol and Diesel with effect from Midnight of 4th Nov 2021. As per the notification issued by the Department of Excise & Taxation, UT Chandigarh today the Vat percentage on petrol has been reduced from 22.45% to 15.24% and on Diesel from 14.02% to 6.66%.
