Chandigarh on Thursday reported 331 new cases of Covid-19 as the cumulative number of infections reached 66,824.The number of active cases has risen to 979 up from 665 a day before.As many as 229 cases of Covid were reported on Thursday.No new death was reported today as the toll remained 1,080. A positivity rate of 14.40 per cent was recorded today as 2,298 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
A total of 17 patients were discharged, including persons from home isolation who have completed seven days and are asymptomatic, as per Ministry of Health guidelines.As many as 64,765 people have been cured till date.
