To date, a jaw-dropping ₹52.24 crore has been collected from defaulters, reflecting an impressive 21% rise above what was reported in 2023-24; it is no doubt that this move is viewed as one giant step towards making tax payment practice practical within our city councils through enhanced revenue collection mechanisms.
