Chandigarh reported 119 covid cases and two deaths on Thursday, taking the total tally to 12,057 and death toll to 161. There are 1,884 active cases in the city.
In Mohali, 148 new cases and three deaths were reported, taking the death toll to 197 and total number of cases stand at 10,535.
As many as 82 positive cases were reported in Panchkula district today, taking the tally to 8,060. There are 765 active cases and 5,223 have been discharged.
Also, UT Adviser Manoj Parida ordered to declare 20 more micro containment zones in Chandigarh. They are in: parts of Sector 7, 15, 20, 22, 23, 27, 28, 37, 38, 40, 44, 47, 63 and Mauli Jagran.
