Star Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan launched the ‘Celebr8’ app on his Instagram handle with a Reel. Celebr8.world announced the launch of the app that will allow users to enjoy this festive season with an innovative and immersive way through visual experiences.
“It is a different festive season for all of us this year. But I’m sure with this app, everyone will be able to enjoy the festivities in a unique way,” he said.
“On eve of Dussehra, a lifelike 3D Raavan will burn in the app. People will not need to gather in crowds and can enjoy Raavan-Dahan at 7pm on October 25 in an AR environment from home and also share the experience via social media,” he said.
Co-founder of the app, Nikita Singh, said, “With onset of the festive season, we are excited to launch the app right before Dussehra and Diwali. With restrictions across the globe due to Covid, we feel thrilled to curate this platform. We aim to become the go-to app for festivities, large and small.” On Diwali, through augmented reality, the app will display a variety of digital firecrackers along with rangolis and diyas in several colours and designs.
