Bhavan Vidyalaya receives most applications for nursery admissions for the session 2021-22

The application process for entry-level admission to private and convent schools in the city is over. Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh, remains the first choice of parents for the entry class with around 1,800 applications. After this, St. Anne’s School has received around 1,500. In some big private schools, more applications have been received against the available seats.

The four convent schools in the city, St John’s High School, St. Anne’s Convent, Carmel Convent and Sacred Heart will conduct the online draw on January 22 at 3 pm. These schools have received six to eight times the number of applications from entry-class seats.

This time, most schools are preparing for the lucky draw process online. For this, parents will be sent a link to the virtual lucky draw.

In view of Covid-19, the UT Education Department has also given instructions to make the lucky draw process online.

Chitkara International School will conduct the draw on January 21 at 12 noon. St Kabir School is planning to have the lucky draw process at the school’s playground on January 15 at 3.15pm. The draw for Delhi Public School will be held on January 20 at 11.30am.
