Baljinder Singh assumed charged of District Education Officer (Elementary), Mohali, on Friday, following the orders issued by Education Department of Punjab Government.
He took the charge at the Elementary Education Office located on the second floor of the District Administrative Complex in Mohali.
Baljinder Singh was promoted as PES Officer on December 23, 2009. He later served as the principal in Government Model Senior Secondary School in Phase 3B1 and schools of Rupalheri and Handesra. He also served as Assistant Director in the Directorate of Education for around 7 years and even before that in 2017 as District Education Officer (AC) at SAS Nagar. Officers and all the staff of the District Education Office (DEO) were present on the occasion.
