Ashiana Public School celebrates Labor Day, appreciating our support staff

This year’s Labour Day celebration at Ashiana Public School, situated in Sector 46-A, Chandigarh, was a touching tribute to the school’s devoted support workers. Acknowledged for their ceaseless endeavors to guarantee the seamless functioning of the educational institution, these folks hold a pivotal position in fostering a secure and efficient educational atmosphere.

International Workers’ Day, or Labor Day, is observed on May 1st worldwide. It is a day to recognize and honor the achievements made by the working class, emphasizing the value of respect for workers’ rights and good working conditions. This custom traces back to the late 1800s, when American and Canadian laborers staged protests and strikes in response to demands for more pay and less hours worked. With time, Labor Day became well-known throughout the world as a celebration of the workforce’s essential contribution to the expansion and advancement of civilization.

In keeping with Labor Day spirit, Ashiana Public School planned a unique presentation to thank its support personnel. Seniors showed their appreciation by making thoughtful gestures on their own initiative. They took great care to create bespoke cards that expressed their gratitude for the maids, peons, and guards’ commitment and hard work. The senior wing arranged enthralling acts to give a little amusement to the day and further liven it up.

Additionally, the administration of the school showed their genuine gratitude by giving each support staff member a gesture of appreciation. The director of the school, Mrs. Lalita Prakash, gave a moving address praising these people for their significant efforts. She conveyed her sincere appreciation for all of their hard work, highlighting how their unwavering assistance makes the school community as a whole feel comfortable, protected, and secure.

“Ashiana Public School recognizes the critical role played by our support staff in maintaining a smooth learning environment,” Mrs. Prakash continued. Their commitment and concern are critical to the success of our school. We are dedicated to giving them the assistance and respect they merit.”
