People might often tell you that money can’t buy happiness, but if you have all the stars aligned you will surely get a glimpse of heaven here on earth itself and surely that is what seems like happening at Ambani’s wedding.
On Wednesday the celebration of the wedding of the world’s richest man Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani with Radhika Merchant began and the whole world has come around to be a part of it.
The Pre wedding ceremony started by serving the food to the community. The tradition of feeding the community has long been into the family of Ambani’s. The event took place in the Jogwad village in Jamnagar. The wedding couple hosted a communal dinner for around 51,000 residents of Gujrat. After the ‘Anna Seva’ the attendees enjoyed the traditional folk music performed by famous Gujarati singer, Kirtidan Gadhvi.
The Ambani Family is hosting a 3 day pre wedding ceremony for the couple and the 1200 star studded list include Bill Gates, Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, Blackrock co-founder Larry Fink, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, former Canadian PM Stephen Harper, former Australian PM Kevin Rudd, and Ivanka Trump.
On 1st March Rihana mesmerised the audience in Jamnagar as the pre wedding unfolds. Presenting a dazzling performance on hits like ‘Rude Boy’ & ‘Diamonds’. In her striking green outfit paired with a sparkling gown, she expressed gratitude towards Ambani’s family for the invitaion. The star is believed to have received a whopping Rs74 crores for her show.
This echoes Beyoncé spectacular performance at Isha Ambani’s wedding in 2018. Jamnagar is deeply connected with the roots of Ambani family legacy making it the apt location to celebrate the momentous occasion. This is the birthplace of Anant Ambani’s grandmother and it also served as the foundational ground for the starting of India’s larger conglomerated by Dirubhai Ambani.
Other than invitation to the ‘Big wedding’, guests have also received a 9 page document detailing dress codes for various events in the pre-wedding ceremony.
These stars are not the only ones that are being invited to the wedding, ahead of the wedding the Ambani family has constructed 14 temples in Jamnagar. The temples are nothing less than architectural wonders. The Reliance Foundation shared a video on YouTube with the description that reads, “Ushering in Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s much-awaited wedding, the Ambani family has facilitated the construction of new temples within a sprawling temple complex in Jamnagar, Gujarat.”
Apart from all this a special drone show was also conducted at the event, reflecting the couple’s love for wildlife. Where the couple was shown caring and loving the animals The drone show also welcomed everyone to the event and the couple.
