Air India has announced a special offer for its customers who intend to travel to USA and Canada in Free baggage allowances.
In a statement released by the airline, it said, “Previously passengers travelling in economy class were entitled to two pieces of free baggage (each 23 kgs). But now, people who purchase tickets on or after November 12, 2020, will be entitled to free baggage allowance of two pieces of 32 kgs instead of 23 kgs each. Similarly, if they were travelling in business or first class on previously issued tickets are entitled two pieces of 32 kgs but now against tickets issued on or after November 12, will be entitled to three pieces of baggage of 32 kgs each.”
Air India has a Maharajah Scholar Scheme where passengers holding student visa are entitled to free baggage one piece of 23 kgs in economy class passengers and business and first-class students are entitled to one additional piece of 32 kgs.
