Chandigarh reported 129 Covid cases and four deaths on Wednesday, taking the total count to 11,938 and death toll to 159. Meanwhile, 215 patients were discharged today, which brought down the number of active patients to 1,963.
In Mohali, 134 positive cases and five deaths were reported. The total cases stand at 10,387 with 194 deaths and 1,724 active cases.
In Panchkula, 113 cases were reported, taking the total tally to 7,956. The district has 774 active cases, 5,132 have been cured and the death toll stands at 86.
Also, Chandigarh Mayor Raj Bala Malik was discharged from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) after recovering from Covid-19. She was hospitalised for a week. She had tested positive on September 16.
