Chandigarh on Tuesday reported 540 new Covid-19 cases at a positivity rate of 11.81 per cent.The city had recorded 568 cases yesterday and the positivity rate stood at 14.49 per cent.The cumulative number of cases has reached 86,800.The number of active cases has fallen to 7,033 from 7,768 a day earlier.A total of 1,275 patients were discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed seven days and are asymptomatic, as per Ministry of Health guidelines.With no death reported the toll remains 1,103.The price for Rapid Antigen Test of Covid in UT Chandigarh has been reduced from Rs 350 to Rs 100 per test.
