30-bed ‘Tera hi Tera Mission Hospital’ inaugurated in Sec 26

Shri Guru Granth Sahib Sewa Society, Chandigarh, has started Tera Hi Tera Mission Hospital at Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital in Sector 26 on Wednesday.

The advanced surgical hospital was inaugurated by Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal of Uttarakhand. The Society’s Director HS Sabharwal and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. Sabharwal said that this 30-bed Tera hi Tera Mission hospital is equipped with the latest equipment, including ventilators and five beds for ICU. The hospital will have two operation theatres and a team of highly qualified and experienced surgeons.

Surgery for kidney stones, removal of the uterus, hernia, prostate, urology and general surgery will be done in a package of around ₹13,000, while knees transplant will cost around ₹1 lakh. Moreover, breast cancer surgery will be done for free. Sabharwal also announced the launch of the cancer bus service from next month.
