COVID Health Control Room- (1075) Care in Home Isolation A 24×7 COVID Health Control Room is now functional in the GMSH-16 with 5 parallel telephone lines. Doctors, Interns and other support staff are available in the COVID Health Control Room, round the clock.
Citizens can may call on Help Line Number-1075 for all the COVID related issues like Vaccination, Medical Oxygen, Home Isolation and ambulance etc. Considering that about 98% COVID positive patients are in Home Isolation, special attention is being given by the Health Department for their well being. Any COVID patient in Home Isolation may call on Help Line Number-1075 for any medical assistance.
The Control Room is well equipped for making arrangements about including, telephonic consultation by the Doctor, video Interaction with the Doctor, sending medical team and Ambulance at the home of the patient If the patient in Home Isolation want to interact with the Doctor through whattsapp video call then also he/she may contact the Control Room and one of the Senior Doctor will answer the queries and doubts of the patient and will suggest required medicines and other pre-cautions, said an official.
The COVID positive patients in Home Isolation need not to worry because immediate medical care will be provided to them on priority. In case of any emergency, they should immediately contact the Help Line no. 1075 which is now functional round the clock.
1,358 Covid cases reported in Chandigarh
As many as 1,358 cases reported in last 24 hours in Chandigarh.Today 665 patients have been discharged.A 38-year-old male resident of Sector 25 was brought dead at GMSH, Sector 16.He was tested and reported as COVID positive posthumously. He was fully vaccinated.
