2 District court judges test positive for Covid

Covid continues to hit the judiciary hard in Chandigarh as two more judges of the District Courts, Chandigarh, tested positive for Covid-19.
According to information, Ravish Kaushik and Sachin Kumar, both Judicial Magistrate First Class, have tested positive. Their staff who came into their contact have been asked to self-quarantine.

Earlier, Punita Bashamboo, Judicial Magistrate First Class, and an Additional District and Sessions Judge had tested positive for coronavirus.

The Punjab and the Haryana High Court as well as the subordinate courts in the states of Punjab, Haryana and the UT are working in a restrictive manner to prevent the spread of the virus since March.
