With the complete shutdown of film production and closure of theatres because of the coronavirus pandemic, OTT platforms came to our rescue by providing us the much needed daily dose of drama. The first ever Filmfare Awards for OTT platforms were given out on Saturday evening.
Bollywood actor Sushmita Sen has bagged the best female actor in a drama series for her Disney+ Hotstar web series ‘Aarya’. The former Miss Universe announced this news on Instagram by posting a small video clip. ‘Aarya’ has been co-created by Sandeep Modi and Ram Madhvani. This Indian crime drama series is based on ‘Penoza’, which is a Dutch drama series.
