10 NSS volunteers selected for training camp for R-Day Parade

Ten NSS volunteers from various colleges of Chandigarh and Punjab University have been selected for the pre-Republic Day parade. They have been selected by NSS Cell, Chandigarh, considering their talents. State Liaison Officer Bikram Rana announced the names of the selected volunteers, which consists of five girls and five boys.

These ten volunteers will be trained for the parade on Rajpath on Republic Day. The volunteers’ training camp will be held at Indraprastha University in Delhi from December 1 to 10. During this period, according to the performance of the volunteers, only one or two will be selected for the parade. All these volunteers will train with NSS volunteers from other states. The students that have been selected are: Smriti Godara of Government Business College, Sector 50; Harsimran Kaur of PU Public Administration; Latika Bhardwaj of PGGCG-11; Aditi of PGGCG-42; Swahaliya of Dev Samaj College for Women-45; Rajinder Singh of Guru Gobind Singh College-26, Sagar Roy of DAV-10, Joseph of PGGC-11, Abhishek from PGGC-46 and Mustaq Ali from PU Evening Study.
